I started working in the industry 10 years ago in smaller projects. My relationship with this work was purely based on passion, desire, and a ton of hard work. Eventually at some point I jumped inside an outsourcing studio (elite3d) where I worked for a couple years forming myself further and determine what I liked doing the most. I was able to work in multiple titles during those years. Including COD titles. I also helped the company in different art tests for big clients and titles like Forza Horizon or Cyberpunk 2077. Sadly I also invested a lot of that time on a project that was cancelled. I left the studio and started my personal journey. As the time passed and I focused on Material and Technical Art, I could establish clients like Ophion Studios, Saber Interactive, Ubisoft or Marmoset Toolbag, which is where I eventually landed as a Lead Material Artist after producing close to 200 materials for the team. I have been consistently building a very big library of assets for material production over the years and I am very confident about my skills at this point and I am always willing to create new, intricate, different, and complex materials. Currently I am also involved in the process of organizing libraries, creating and managing tasks and doing review work for an awesome and familiar team of material artists.
Material Authoring for the library included within Toolbag 4 texture painting system.
I am in charge of the library materials with a small and talented team. I do task organization, managment, feedbacks and management of the library alongside with Joe Wilson (Producer, Product Manager and Artist at Marmoset)
I worked as a freelance senior material artist/consultant for an undisclosed project at Ubisoft Quebec. I really enjoyed my time working here and it challenged me in the most positive ways. The team is very open and I met very talented artists in the process.
